Yvonne Manupuna was born and raised in Hawaii. Her area of focus is couples and post partum work. She has worked in community mental health for nearly 10 years both in substance use treatment as well as with foster youth and their families. She has been in private practice now for 9 years and is also currently in the final year of her doctoral program at Chaminade University. At present, her research interest is advocacy for mental health support for pacific island communities. Yvonne currently sees patients in person primarily out of her Hawai'i Island office in Hilo and sees patients from the outer islands via telehealth.
